Nicholls State University

2024 Season (Senior): Started at shortstop in all 56 games played... batted .248 with 30 hits which included five doubles and a home run... scored 20 runs and drove in 10... was 15 of 16 in stolen bases, ranking just outside the Top 10 of the Southland... had three walks and three hit-by-pitches... put down six sacrifice bunts... totaled five multi-hit games.

2023 Season (Junior): Started 26 games at shortstop before suffering a season-ending injury... posted a .288 batting average with 19 hits, two doubles and a home run... had 18 runs scored and seven RBIs... was a perfect 18 of 18 in stolen bases... drew three walks and one hit-by-pitch... had one sac fly and two sac bunts... recorded five multi-hit games... drove in two runs in two different games, including a 2-run homer in her final series at Texas A&M-Commerce.

2022 Season (Sophomore): Logged 47 starts in 29 games played at shortstop... had the fifth most hits (28) and finished with a .224 batting average... totaled four doubles, a triple, and two home runs... homered and drove in two in a win at UIW... recorded three two-hit games... had 21 runs scored and 16 RBIs... finished with seven walks and two hit-by-pitches... added two sacrifice flies and two sac bunts... was fourth in stolen bases, stealing 8 bases on 10 attempts... put together a 14-game on-base streak.

2021 Season (Freshman): Started 18 of 24 games played in her first season with the Colonels... saw time at second base and designated player... had 12 hits and one homer for a .250 batting average... totaled three runs scored and five RBIs... drew six walks and one hit-by-pitch... finished with one sacrifice... was 1-for-1 in stolen bases... posted a 2-for-3 outing against Northwestern State... hit her first career home run in win over Southern.

At Peotone: Was a two-time all-conference and all-area selection for the Blue Devils... received team MVP all three years... as a junior, posted a .614 batting average to help Peotone to a regional title... played travel ball for New Lenox Lightning 18u Gold.

Personal: Birthday is May 29... parents are Kelly and Andy Gwiazda... has one older sibling, Kyle Bataoel, and two younger, Brooke and Andrew Gwiazda... majoring in allied health... career ambition is to become a pharmaceutical sales representative
