High School: Was a five-year indoor varsity starter for Pope John Paul II Catholic High in Slidell, La., playing eighth grade onward, and also competed four years on the sand ... graduated in December 2020 and enrolled at UL Lafayette for the spring 2021 semester ... helped lead the Jaguars to state championship titles in 2016, 2017 and 2019, and five playoff appearances overall ... passed out 519 assists and collected 225 digs in her senior campaign ... was named district co-MVP of final season with Pope John Paul ... finished her sophomore campaign with 506 assists, 369 digs, 65 kills, and 26 aces ... selected to the 2018 All-State Volleyball team ... earned numerous first-team all-district honors and Max Preps Player of the Week awards ... in club volleyball, participated in three Top 5 national finishes with Louisiana Volleyball and a pair of Top 5 placements with WD Nation.
Personal: Daughter of Greg and Rachel Battistella... has two siblings-Caitlyn and Payton...father played baseball at UNO from 1988-92 where he was a two-time All-American South selection and is a member of the UNO Top-50 list and the Privateers Hall of Fame.
