Sanja Stanojcic begins her first season as assistant coach for the Nicholls tennis program.
Stanojcic lettered four years for the Nicholls women’s tennis team and was named team captain three times. She compiled over 80 wins in her career which included a 16-4 singles record in 2010. Stanojcic was listed on the athletic academic honor roll while at Nicholls and also received the Colonel Pride Award for going above and beyond for the team.
A native of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Stanojcic graduated from Nicholls in 2010 with a bachelor’s in multinational business. She is currently pursuing her MBA.
“Sanja is a great addition to the team,” said tennis head coach Meenakshi Sundaram. “In my years of coaching, I have not met too many coaches who can assess a situation very quickly on and off the court and come up with a precise solution.”
