THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University Department of Athletics announced today the addition of its brand-new iPhone and iPad app which can be downloaded for free through iTunes right now to its mobile platform lineup as well as changes to its mobile site.

After announcing the launch of its Android application back in March, the department worked with website provider Sidearm Sports to develop a platform for the poplar Apple line of products to be released later in the year, with the final product being released for public consumption just recently.

Through the app, fans can get the latest news and updates on Colonel sports, browse schedules and add full seasons to their calendars, see posts on our social media pages and get redirected to live video and live stats whenever available.

Along with the release of the mobile app, fans can also visit the brand-new geauxcolonels.com/mobile home page through their phones or tablets, as Sidearm's new adaptive technology allows the page to fit all devices. The site now accommodates much of the features of the full geauxcolonels.com website, with easy-to-access news links, upcoming events and individual sports pages.
