Patrick Dolan Dubbed With Preseason All-American Honor From College Sporting News

THIBODAUX - Nicholls State University punter Patrick Dolan picked up his third preseason All-American accolade on Tuesday with the most recent coming from College Sporting News, announced the organization on Tuesday in a press release.

Dolan was named to the Third Team by CSN, and was also named to The Sports Network's and Lindy's Football Magazine's preseason All-American teams earlier this summer.   Dolan is a two-time All-Southland and All-LSWA First Team selection, and for his collegiate career he has been named a preseason All-American five times.  He is also a three-time All-Southland Academic Team member.

The Mobile, Ala. native finished his junior season ranked No. 5 nationally in punting with an average of 42.73 yards/punt. The single season average tied the Nicholls all-time single-season mark.
