The men's team will host ULL on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
SAN ANTONIO – Coming off a 5-4 victory over the University of Incarnate Word on Saturday, the Nicholls State University men's tennis team was defeated 4-0 on Sunday against the University of Texas-San Antonio in Southland Conference play.
Doubles play was cancelled due to rain, and UTSA (5-4, 2-0 SLC) was able to take the first four points in singles play to secure the victory. Nicholls (6-4, 0-3 SLC) made it difficult, however, playing to extra points in three of the four completed matches.
Nicholls returns to action next Thursday at the Colonel Tennis Complex when they host Louisiana-Lafayatte at 1:30 p.m.
