2011 Men's Tennis All-SLC

FRISCO, Texas – After leading the Nicholls State University men's tennis team with a 14-5 record in singles, sophomore Dmitry Kozionov was named Second Team All-Southland Conference, announced the league office on Wednesday.

Kozionov, a native of Izhevsk, Russia, garnered freshman of the year and first team SLC honors last year and followed up with a solid second season. Kozionov notched 14 wins in singles playing primarily as the Colonels' No. 3 player.

In conference play, Kozionov posted a 4-1 record while going undefeated at the No. 3 position. His only loss in SLC play came at the No. 2 slot. For his career, Kozionov holds a 29-9 record in singles and is 8-2 in SLC action. He has also won 15 doubles matches.

The Colonels closed out the season with a 9-10 overall record.
