The Colonels host the UNO Privateers Tuesday night in Thibodaux
THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls baseball team looks to bounce back from consecutive losses for the first time since late February, hosting the UNO Privateers at Ray E. Didier Field Tuesday night. The Colonels are coming off a 2-1 series loss to the Sam Houston State Bearkats over the weekend, the team's second series loss of the year and first in conference since last season. This is the last of a two-game in-season series against UNO, as the Colonels rallied to defeat the Privateers 15-7 in extra innings last Tuesday.

Nicholls dropped its second series of the year, and first conference series since last year... The Colonels are now 4-6 at home this year... The team was held to just one hit in the series finale Sunday to Sam Houston State, the lowest hit total this year... Nicholls left 20 runners on base last weekend against the Bearkats...
Michael LeGrange had his first back-to-back three-hit games of the year, and now has ten multi-hit games this year...
Seth Webster won his second straight start last Friday, earning the complete game victory....
Jeremy Hill's consecutive start streak came to an end Sunday after he was injured in Saturday's game, ending his run at 76 straight games.
