THIBODAUX, La. – After earning second-team All-Southland as a redshirt freshman, Nicholls State University tight end Nick Scelfo was named to the 2012 College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Tight End Award Watch List, announced the organization.

Scelfo, a native of Baton Rouge, finished the season with 15 receptions for 189 yards and a touchdown. His best game statically came against Central Arkansas where he registered 55 yards on six catches.

A total of 36 tight ends were named to the list, with Scelfo joining Lamar's Payden McVey as the two representatives from the Southland Conference. For more information on the College Football Performance Awards, click here.
