THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University baseball team took time out of its schedule on Friday to visit cancer patients at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, as it will begin preparations for the 2013 season next week.

Seth Thibodeaux said. "We can't thank the folks at Thibodaux Regional enough for allowing us to come in an help any way we can."
The Colonels visited the cancer center at Thibodaux Regional last year, as it is one of the many ways the team stays active in the community. The squad has volunteered with Race for the Cure and the Relay For Life, as well as helping pick up trash on Thibodaux streets, among other initiatives.
