Nicholls hosts the Lamar Cardinals on Friday at 4 p.m.
Weekend Info
THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's soccer team closes out a three-game home stand on Friday hosting the Lamar Cardinals at 4 p.m. at the Nicholls Soccer Complex in Thibodaux.
The Colonels have just one contest this weekend, which will give the squad a short rest before heading out on a three-week, five-match road swing to close out the month of October.
A lot is on the line for Nicholls after splitting last weekend's matches with Abilene Christian and Incarnate Word, as a win will not only keep the Colonels near the top of the Southland Conference standings, but also earn the first double-digit winning season in the program's history. At 9-1-1 and 3-1 in league play, Nicholls is tied for second in the SLC and can continue the march to only its third conference tournament berth in school history heading into the final half of the year.
Tickets can be bought online as well as at the gate for $5 or for the entire season for $30 as students can get in free with their Colonel Card. For fans unable to make the matches, for the first time this season all Colonel home soccer matches will be posted and archived later that day after the conclusion of the match and can be viewed with a subscription to Colonels All-Access.
