TULSA, Okla. – The first-ever meeting between the Nicholls State University baseball team and the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles will have to wait a day as the series opener on Friday has been postponed due to rain and will be made up as a part of a doubleheader beginning Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Heavy rains overnight on Thursday, which led into Friday afternoon, forced the postponement of the game with the first game at J.L. Johnson Field starting at 2 p.m. with the second game taking place approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.

Mike Suk will take the mound in the opener against ORU's Alex Gonzales, with Kory Delange getting the start in game two against the Golden Eagles' Drew Bowen.
