Nicholls fell to 8-7 on the year after Sunday's loss to LSU
BATON ROUGE, La. – The Nicholls State University men's tennis team took on LSU on Sunday night at Dub Robinson Stadium and came away with a 7-0 loss to the Tigers.
LSU (9-8) won the No. 2 and 3 doubles matches for the 1-0 lead before winning five of the six singles matches in straight sets.
Kieran Cronin was the only Colonel to record a win, as he took the second set on the No. 6 court against John Michael Busch in a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 decision.
The Colonels (8-7) will return to conference play on Wednesday, March 19 against New Orleans at the Colonel Tennis Complex.
