THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's volleyball team will battle Northwestern State University on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Stopher Gymnasium.
 
The Colonels (4-10, 0-1 SLC) dropped their home and conference opener to Stephen F. Austin on Friday, but will look to rebound against the Demons (4-10, 1-0 SLC).
 
Northwestern State faced a daunting non-conference schedule against teams including North Texas, #15 Missouri, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, Mississippi State, Baylor and Auburn. The Demons are coming off of a 3-2 victory over McNeese State on Friday in Lake Charles.
 
Kaci Eaton has led Nicholls offensively all season and currently is second in the Southland Conference in kills with 198, while adding 132 digs. Kalynn Egea is has a team-high 264 digs on the year, only two shy of first in the conference. Ainsley Marroccoli leads the Colonels with 288 assists while Alyse Barclay has 177.
 
Mackenzie Neely has a team-leading 137 kills for Northwestern State. Keelie Arneson has a team-high 266 digs and Stacey DiFrancesco has added 206 this season.Emily Johnson leads the team in assists with 243.
