Daniel Regis has been a force in the paint this season. His 3.0 blocks per game ranks first in the league and 14th in Division I. The Grenada native has recorded multiple swats in all five games this season.
The Colonels' last win over an SEC opponent came on Nov. 16, 2010, when the Red and Grey took down LSU, 62-53, in Baton Rouge.
The Rebels (1-1) also boast the top scorer in their respective league. Terence Davis is averaging 23.5 points per game on 63.6 percent shooting from long range. This game will feature two first-year head coaches in
Austin Claunch and Kermit Davis.
