MONROE, La. – Following a 75-63 setback at Boston University Saturday, the Nicholls State University men's basketball team is searching for its second road win of the season Tuesday when it faces ULM at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Jeremiah Jefferson fronted the squad offensively with a game-high 21 points. The Dallas native has been the team's top scorer in seven of 10 games and ranks second in the Southland with 17 points per game.

Gavin Peppers has proven to be a force in the second half, averaging nearly 10 more points in addition to a 34.2 field-goal percentage improvement from the first period in the last seven games. Peppers also boasts the eighth-best free throw percentage in Division I at 94.4 percent (34-36).
The Warhawks (5-4) are coming off of a convincing 74-58 win over SLC preseason favorite Stephen F. Austin on Saturday. Michael Ertel, the 2017-18 Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year, poured in a game-high 21 points followed by a near double-double via JD Williams (19 points, nine boards).
