THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls volleyball squad will conclude its 16-match road stretch by facing Houston Baptist on Saturday and New Orleans on Tuesday. First serve against the Huskies is scheduled for 1 p.m. while the instate battle versus the Privateers will commence at 6 p.m.

Brieanna Hill has at least three kills in every match, highlighted by a season-high 17 against Grambling on Aug. 25.
HBU (7-8, 0-1 SLC) fell in its first league match to UNO. The Huskies rank first in the league and 18
th in Division I with 1.76 aces per set, fronted by Kelly Colwell's 0.45. Mikayla Vivens (3.3 kills/set) and Kelly Colwell (3.2 kills/set) combine for more than half of the team's offensive output.
UNO's Brianna Vega smashed 20 kills as the Privateers (7-8, 1-0 SLC) took down the Huskies on their home court. UNO spreads the ball effectively, with five different student-athletes producing at least 1.7 kills per set, fronted by Vega's 2.56. Middle blocker Kaitlyn Grice holds the conference's top hitting percentage at .345 (121-26-275).
