THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's beach volleyball program will make its historic first appearance on the courts this weekend in the New Orleans Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Digs Volleyball Complex in Covington.
Under first-year head volleyball coach Kallie Noble, the Colonels will play host New Orleans (9 a.m.) and Spring Hill (1 p.m.) on Friday, before Saturday matchups against Southern Miss (9 a.m.) and Huntingdon (3 p.m.).
The Colonel roster is made up of players from the 2018 indoor squad. Rejoining the volleyball program as a graduate student is Emily Weimer, who lettered four years for the indoor team from 2014-17.
