PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Following an undefeated home stretch to open the season, the Nicholls State University women's soccer program (2-0-1, 0-0-0 Southland) braces for the team's first roadtrip of the 2019 campaign, traveling west to battle Prairie View A&M (0-3-0, 0-0-0 SWAC) on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Prairie View, Texas. On the year, the Lady Panthers have yet to find the back of the net, surrendering a combined nine goals across three early losses; conversely, the Colonels have showcased a tremendous offensive attack, ranking first nationally in both shots (25.00) and shots-on-goal (12.67) per game and generating 11 goals thus far (ninth nationally in scoring offense).

- Danny Free enters his first season leading Nicholls, and currently sports a 2-0-1 overall record with the Red & Gray.

- This season's depth chart features 11 players from across the state of Louisiana, five from Texas, a pair from Australia, another two from Germany and one from each of the following: Iceland, Finland & the Netherlands.
- The Colonels were projected to finish 12th in the Southland Conference, per the league's preseason poll.
