THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University women's basketball team's game at Southern Miss on Dec. 8 has been canceled after USM announced Monday it has suspended team activities due to COVID-19 protocols.
The game was slated to be the Colonels' third road contest of the season. Nicholls and Southern Miss met previously in the opening round of the 2019 Women's Basketball Invitational.
UP NEXT
Nicholls will make its Stopher Gymnasium debut on Wednesday, Dec. 2 against the University of Mobile. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
