THIBODAUX, La. -- Nicholls State University introduced Jonathan "JT" Terrell as director of athletics Monday morning in a press conference held in David R. Stopher Gymnasium.
Terrell, a native of Slidell, Louisiana and graduate of Nicholls, was named AD
last Monday. His first official day is July 6.
"To stand here is an honor and privilege and there is a lot of history about today, but it's about continuing the climb of our Athletic Department," Terrell said. "When I left Slidell at 18, I was adopted by this community as one of its own. I say this a lot about Nicholls State -- it's one-of-a-kind place."
