THIBODAUX, La. -- The Nicholls State University women's soccer program (0-12-0, 0-8-0 SLC) officially closes out both a four-match home streak as well as the team's non-conference slate across a full weekend of competition, initially hosting league adversary Houston Baptist (3-8-3, 3-3-2 SLC) on Thursday, Oct. 14 (4 p.m. kickoff) at the Nicholls Soccer Complex in Thibodaux, La. before wrapping up the three-day stretch against Louisiana-Monroe (8-3-1, 2-3-1 SBC) on Sunday, Oct. 17 (1 p.m. kickoff) at Brown Stadium in Monroe, La.

Notably, the Nicholls Athletic Department has initiated a new promotion for this weekend's opener against Houston Baptist, encouraging fans to Pack the Plex versus the Huskies with free watermelon and popsicles available throughout the match along with the Penalty Kick Challenge scheduled for halftime. Admission to all home women's soccer matches remains free and open to the public.
