THIBODAUX, La. -- Still searching for its first victory of the season, the Nicholls State University soccer team will wrap up its home schedule with matchups against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Friday, Oct. 22) and UIW (Sunday, Oct. 24) at the Nicholls Soccer Complex.

Nicholls (0-14, 0-9 SLC) fell to both teams earlier this season by the same score, 2-0. Last spring against the Islanders, Nicholls earned a tie in a 0-0 result. The last Colonel victory against AMCC was a 2-1 overtime win in 2017.

UIW has had the Colonels' number over the last few years, winning seven straight against the Red and Gray. The Cardinals outshot Nicholls by a large margin, 28-3, in their win in San Antonio on Sept. 24.

UP NEXT
The Colonels put a bow on the regular season with a short trip to Hammond to face Southeastern on Friday, Oct. 29. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will air on ESPN+.
