THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University women's basketball 2021 home finale scheduled for Dec. 29 has been canceled due to COVID issues within the Alabama A&M program.

It marks the first contest this season Nicholls has had canceled due to the ongoing pandemic. 

The Colonels will now shift their focus to the Southland Tip-Off Tournament in Katy, Texas. The three-day event will begin on Monday, Jan. 3 with a 5 p.m. game against UIW.
