**VENUE CHANGE -- SUNDAY'S MATCH AGAINST LOUISIANA TECH NOW LOCATED AT YOCKEY BERNARD FIELD**
LAKE CHARLES, La. -- Nine days removed from the season kickoff against Southern Miss, the Nicholls State University women's soccer program (0-1, 0-0 SLC) returns to action in the team's first full weekend slate in over 15 months (October 2019), initially opening Southland play at in-state opponent McNeese (0-1, 0-0 SLC) on Friday, Feb. 12 (3 p.m. start) before quickly heading home to continue non-conference competition against Louisiana Tech (4-2, 0-0 C-USA) on Sunday, Feb. 14 (1 p.m. start).
Currently, the Colonels have their sights set on a fast recovery after narrowly dropping the opener to the Golden Eagles this past Wednesday, especially with a chance to earn the program's first league victory in just over two years (2-0 vs. Stephen F. Austin, 10/14/18).
