THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's basketball team returns home for the first time in over two weeks, as the Colonels square off on Wednesday, Feb. 10 against Lamar University for the second time this season. Tipoff in Stopher Gymnasium is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Nicholls (6-10, 5-4 SLC) is a perfect 4-0 in Thibodaux in Southland play and will look to keep its conference record above .500 with a win over the Cardinals. Lamar (5-10, 4-3 SLC) comes to town aiming for a season sweep of the Colonels following a 66-40 win in Beaumont earlier this year.
With a win, the Cardinals would claim the first sweep in the series for either team since 2011.
