FORT WORTH, Texas -- Less than a week removed from unquestioned dominance in The Colonel Classic en route to a perfect 3-0 record, the Nicholls State University women's volleyball program (3-0, 0-0 SLC) hits the road for the team's second preseason tournament of the young 2021 campaign, trekking west across state lines for The Cowtown Classic -- a three-team round-robin featuring TCU (0-2, 0-0 Big 12), UMBC (0-4, 0-0 America East) and UTRGV (2-0, 0-0 WAC) -- from Thursday, Sept. 2 through Friday, Sept. 3 at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

Following the conclusion of The Cowtown Classic, the Red & Gray keep their bags packed for the season's third consecutive non-conference tournament, traveling east for the Jax State Invitational against Southern Mississippi, South Alabama and host Jacksonville State, set for Friday, Sept. 10 through Saturday, Sept. 11 in Jacksonville, Ala.
