AUBURN, Ala. -- After compiling a competitive performance this past weekend at the Jax State Invitational, the Nicholls State University women's volleyball program (6-3, 0-0 SLC) aims to close out the team's fourth and final preseason tournament on a major positive note, traveling back east for the War Eagle Invitational -- a three-team round-robin featuring fellow challengers Belmont (2-5, 0-0 OVC) and Florida A&M (5-4, 0-0 SWAC) along with host Auburn (6-0, 0-0 SEC) -- from Friday, Sept. 17 through Saturday, Sept. 18 at Auburn Arena in Auburn, Ala.

The Colonels are slated to battle Auburn during Friday evening prime time, squaring off against the host Tigers on SEC Network+.
