SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- With four consecutive weeks of road experience under their belts, the Nicholls State University women's soccer program (0-7-0, 0-3-0 SLC) finally wraps up the team's season-opening away stretch with a pair of tough Southland opponents just across state lines, initially squaring off against UIW (0-7-1, 0-2-0 SLC) on Friday, Sept. 24 in San Antonio, Texas (5 p.m. kickoff) before heading over to the coast for a match with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3-5-1, 1-1-1 SLC) on Sunday, Sept. 26 in Corpus Christi, Texas (1 p.m. kickoff).

With the five-week road trek completed, the Red & Gray return to the friendly confines of the Nicholls Soccer Complex for the first time this season, hosting the team's home opener against in-state rival Southeastern Louisiana on Friday, Oct. 1, kickoff slated for 4 p.m.
