THIBODAUX, La. -- Following a strong sequence of preseason tournament play over the course of the past four weeks, the Nicholls State University women's volleyball program (7-5, 0-0 SLC) looks to officially open up Southland competition on a major high note as in-state rival New Orleans (0-8, 0-0 SLC) comes for a visit in both squads' league debuts, locking sabers with the Privateers the morning of Saturday, Sept. 25 at Stopher Gym in Thibodaux, La., first serve slated for 11 a.m.

UP NEXT
After launching Southland play at home against the Privateers, the Red & Gray head right back out onto the road for a weekend of away action, initially traveling to McNeese on Thursday, Sept. 30 take take on the Cowgirls before trekking across state lines for a clash with Houston Baptist on Saturday, Oct. 2.
