THIBODAUX, La. - A dominant first half by the Nicholls State University men's basketball team was more than enough against Trinity Baptist College as the Colonels improved to 5-0 at home with a 90-46 victory Monday night on Broussard Court at Stopher Gymnasium.

Playing their third game in five days, the Colonels (6-6) showed no signs of fatigue by jumping out to a 53-12 lead at halftime. Trinity Baptist (5-5) had a better showing in the second half being outscored just 37-34, but Nicholls still went on to earn its third home victory by at least 40 points this season.
