FORT WORTH, Texas - The Nicholls State University women's basketball team finished up its nonconference schedule with a 75-32 loss at Texas Christian Wednesday afternoon at Schollmeyer Arena. 

With the loss, Nicholls slipped to 3-8 following a fourth consecutive setback. Texas Christian improved to 6-5 on the season. 

Still dressing just eight players, the Colonels had their lowest offensive output of the season and made just 12 field goals for the second straight outing. Nicholls also had 27 turnovers and missed all 10 3-point attempts in the loss.

Lexi Alexander accounted for nearly half of the points, scoring 15 to go along with seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Kate Manley added six points while Malaysia DePrisco finished with four. 

TC, which led 17-4 after one quarter of play, was paced by Tomi Taiwo with 12 points and five steals. The Horned Frogs shot 49 percent for the game and had three players score in double figures.
