THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University volleyball team will play Southeastern in Hammond on Thursday, Oct. 26, and host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday Oct. 28.

NICHOLLS COURT (3-19, 1-11 SLC)
The Colonels enter the matchup against the Lady Lions after and three match homestand that saw them pick up their first league win on the season over Texas A&M-Commerce. The other two matches went differently as they were clipped by Northwestern State and McNeese.
Freshman outside hitter
Gracie Campbell has been a two-way machine for the Red & Gray. In the last three home matches she has averaged 15.3 kills and 11.7 digs per contest and posted three of her five career double-doubles. Her 46 kills from last week brought her total to 120 which is second on the team.
Freshman outside hitter
Autumn Perry leads the unit with 181 kills and 23 digs and ranks second on the team in digs with 140. Junior outside hitter
Trinity Vinzant is 3rd on the team in kills with 119 and leads the team in digs with 142.
The Colonel attack is paced by two setters. Junior
Kendall Battistella leads the team with 337 assists, while freshman
Berra Soyler has dished 236 helpers.
The Colonel defense is anchored in the middle by sophomore
Paris Dixon and senior
Jhayla Bolden who have 60 and 57 blocks, respectively.
SOUTHEASTERN COURT (21-4, 12-1 SLC)
The Lady Lions enter the weekend after three consecutive road victories that extended their winning streak to 15. Southeastern has only loss seven sets in league play.
The Lady Lions' offense features three individuals with at least 200 kills and 200 digs.
Kailin Newsome leads the way with 337 kills, 259 digs, and 32 service aces. Rachel Hartmann has 285 kills, 213 digs, and 25 service aces, while Cicily Hidalgo has 203 kills and 218 digs.
Gracie Duplechein runs the SLC's most efficient offense and leads the team in assists with 657 and Jacquiline Arrington leads the defense with 90 blocks.
TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI COURT (16-8, 11-1 SLC)
The Islanders have only lost eight sets in league play and enter the weekend on a 10-match win streak after sweeping Lamar and UIW.
Kyndal Payne leads the team in kills (330), blocks (40), and is second on the squad in digs (239). Leah Stolfus is second on the team in kills with 242 and blocks with 35.
Morgan Belle paces the SLC's second most efficient with 873 assists and leads the team with 25 service aces. Kayla White leads the defense with 326 digs and Kendall Mahaney adds 206.
