CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Nicholls State University women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at Dr. Jack Dugan Soccer and Track & Field Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Colonels were outshot 19-3 and finished the match with 0 shots on target. Junior defender Lauren Andre, freshman forward Kelsey Villatoro, and senior forward Gabrielle Champagne took the shots for Nicholls.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Megan Cook recorded five saves.
 
The Islanders' scoring began 30 minutes into the contest when Megan Guy connected with Storm Harris for the goal. A few minutes later (33') Molly Arens scored to put the Islanders up 2-0.
