THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's soccer team will stop in Baton Rouge to play Southern (Sept. 15) and begin Southland Conference play in Houston against HCU (Sept. 17).
Last weekend, the Colonels (1-7) dropped road matches at Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss. Freshman forward
Brooke Cox was able to score her first career goal against the Bulldogs.
The Lady Jaguars come into the matchup 1-4-1 after playing three consecutive matches against SLC opponents. First, they beat Southeastern (1-0), fell to Lamar (3-0), and then tied McNeese (1-1).
The Huskies enter SLC play with a 2-4 record and most recently a pair of road contests, falling to Houston (5-1), and beating Texas Southern (2-0).
