THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University men's basketball team's game versus Lamar on Monday, Jan. 20 at Stopher Gymnasium has been moved up to a 1 p.m. tipoff due to inclement weather in the forecast.

The game was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. but with wintry conditions expected to hit the region, the earlier start time will allow Lamar to travel home before the weather worsens.

Nicholls returns home for the first time in over a month with its 3 p.m. game on Saturday against SFA. Following Monday's contest, the Colonels will head to Texas next week for matchups against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and UTRGV.
