Slekis' thoughts on the schedule:
"We are excited to have some great local opportunities to compete this season including adding the Pelican Relays to our team's schedule. We also have two select meets on our Outdoor schedule for qualifiers to Texas Relays and our heptathletes traveling to compete at SFA. We also will be going back to Rice University for the J. Fred Duckett Twilight which has been a great meet for our team especially with the Southland Conference Outdoor championships taking place there again this season."
