THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University cross country teams competed in the 2025 Southland Conference Championships on Friday morning.
The women's unit had three individuals place in the top 60 as
Isabelle Seijhouwer led the team as she finished the 6K in 22:10.90 to place 20th. Garcie Daigle was the next Colonel to finish as she clocked a time of 23:15.40 to place 40th while
Payton Theriot (23:46.20) placed 57th.
In the men's 8K the Colonels had five individuals finish under 27 minutes.
Mason Heffernan led the way clocking a time of 26:12.10 to claim 74th place.
Brison Legnon (26:45) was the next Colonel to finish as he placed 79th. Next,
Michael Keller (26:46.40),
William Nizzo (26:48.50), and
Alex Hartline (26:50.20) finished the course to claim 80th, 81st and 82nd place, respectively.
