THIBODAUX, La. – In its second consecutive event at home, the Nicholls State University beach volleyball team dropped three matches at the Beach Bayou Battle on Friday, March 28 at Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex.
The Colonels won four flights across the three matches. In the first match of the day,
Tierney Terrell,
Addison Prine, Clarie Reed and
Evelyn Trivino Espinosa won their matches before
Peyton Ferree and
Jordan Gamble lost a three-set thriller to clinch the match for the Rams.
Terrell and Reed paired up to beat take the third flight against Loyola while Mason, Espinosa, Anderson and
Mackenzie Glynn took the first sets in their flights against the Wolfpack. In the finale, Prine and Gamble outlasted their matchup on court three in a three-set thriller.
