BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Nicholls State University men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to compete in the 2025 Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 2-3.
 
The Colonels scored 3.5 points across multiple events. Anne de Jong scored one point as she placed eighth in the women's 800-meter race with a personal best time of 2:17.20. Iradi Blasco added 0.5 points as she soared 1.67m in the women's high jump to claim eighth place.  The Colonels other two points were scored by the combination of Maria Nikolaou, Layla Ingalls, Issy Rivault, and Isabelle Seijhouwer placed seventh in the women's distance medley (12:10.46)
