THIBODAUX, La. – After picking up two wins last week in Nashville, the Nicholls State University volleyball program will return home to host Alabama A&M (Sept. 11), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Sept. 12), Grambling and Southern (Sept. 13) as part of the 2025 SLC-SWAC Challenge.
The Colonels are currently having one of the best starts in program history as they started 5-1 after sweeping Tennessee State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the Belmont Invitational last week in Nashville.
Nicholls first opponent, Alabama A&M is also 5-1 with their lone loss coming to Delaware State. Arkansas-Pine Bluff is 0-6 after dropping all three contests in the Belmont Invitational. Grambling enters the weekend 0-4 with their last loss coming from the Colonels. Southern is 2-4 on the season after dropping three contests in the Green Wave Invitational hosted by Tulane last week.
On Friday, Nicholls will welcome Abilene Christian who will play a pair of neutral site contests against Alabama A&M (10 AM) and Grambling (1 PM).
