THIBODAUX, La. – After sweeping action last weekend the Nicholls State University beach volleyball team will look to stay hot as they head to New Orleans for the Green Wave Invitational hosted by Tulane on March 13-14.
Nicholls will begin the weekend by playing a Southland Conference match against McNeese on Friday at 11 a.m. before playing Texas A&M-Kingsville later in the day at 4 p.m. The Colonels will play Tulane and Southeastern on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. The action on courts 1-3 will be streamed via Sporfie and the there will be live scoring available via Volleyball Life.
Nicholls is looking to keep its momentum rolling as they lost just one flight across five matches last week at the Huntington Beach Bash in Montgomery.
Hailey Mason and
Ana Clara Valentim do Vale went perfect in the top flight, Araina Matallana and
Madison Smith went 4-0 in the three slot, and
Carly Lang and
Raegan Erickson won all their matches as the fourth flight.
Claire Reed paired up with
Brooklynn Wilkinson and
Isabella Padilla who win two matches in the five slot. Wilkinson also paired up with
Mackenzie Glynn to win two matches.
