THIBODAUX, La. -- After winning the most games in a season since 2024, the Nicholls State University beach volleyball team will compete in the 2026 Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Tournament in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 22-24.
 
Nicholls (8-21) will play against Southeastern in the opening round on Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Colonels lost all three matchups with the Lady Lions as Addison Prine and Tierney Terrell picked up the only two victories for the Red & Gray in the three contests.
 
Overall, Prine and Terrell have the most victories as a pair this season as they finished 13-16. Ariana Matallana also had 13 wins while playing with multiple partners. Raegan Erickson and Claire Reed finished with 12 and 11 wins apiece as they also played with multiple partners throughout the season.
