LAKE CHARLES, La. - Nicholls State University softball senior Claire Sisco has been named to the 2026 Southland Softball All-Tournament Team, the league office announced Saturday night following the championship series.

Sisco posted a .500 batting average in Nicholls' four postseason games in the Lake Charles Bracket, totaling five hits with three doubles and six RBIs. The Colonel leadoff hitter also had five runs scored, drew a pair of walks and had two sacrifice flies to help Nicholls reach the bracket final.

Sisco was one of only two players on the all-tourney squad that did not play for a team in the championship series. It also marked her second all-tournament recognition as she made the team as a sophomore in 2024.
