THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University football program has set its kickoff times for its 2026 home schedule which features six games on Manning Field at John L. Guidry Stadium, starting with another Week 0 matchup on Thursday, Aug. 27.

The Colonels started the Tommy Rybacki Era with a Week 0 home win over No. 5 UIW last season and will begin Year 2 with a Thursday night contest at 6 p.m. against Mississippi Valley State. Nicholls' Southland Conference home opener on Saturday, Sept. 12 will also be a 6 p.m. kickoff.

The next three home games will start at 3 p.m. The Colonels host Lamar (Sept. 26), and Stephen F. Austin (Oct. 17) before their Homecoming game against East Texas A&M on Nov. 7.

The annual River Bell Classic against Southeastern is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11.

The Colonels will play six road games this season and kickoff times for all but one have been set.  Nicholls will have 6 p.m. games at Kansas State (Sept. 5), Sam Houston (Sept. 19), and HCU (Oct. 3), while the matchups at Northwestern State (Oct. 24) and UIW (Nov. 14) are set for 2 p.m.
