2011-12 Season (Senior):  Named second-team All-Southland and first-team All-Louisiana... started all 31 games… finished sixth in the SLC in scoring (15.6/485) and led the league in steals (2.6/80)... scored double figures in all but two games… had eight 20+ scoring efforts, including a career-high 34 points on 12-of-15 shooting against Southeastern La. (Jan. 21)... was named SLC and LSWA Player of the Week following that performance… finished 10th in the league in field goal percentage (.449/167-372), third in assists (4.5/139), and second in free throw percentage (.853/122-143)… collected 155 rebounds (5.0)… had three double-doubles on the year.

2010-11 Season (Junior): Started 12 of 13 games before suffering a season-ending injury… was third on the team with 11.5 points per game… scored in double figures in seven outings, including a season-high 24 points against Tulane (Dec. 29)… connected on 12 of 35 3-pointers (34.3%)… had a season-high of three from long range against Northwestern State (Jan. 12)… shot 85.4% at the stripe (35-41)… averaged 3.8 rebounds… swiped 44 steals (3.4)… had nine steals against the Green Wave… dished out 32 assists on the year.

At Louisiana-Monroe: Started a total of 12 games during her tenure with the Warhawks… transferred from ULM mid-year during the 2009-10 season… best season came as a freshman with 200 points, 79 assists, 58 rebounds, a .400 3-point percentage, and a .364 field goal percentage... recorded seven double-digit scoring games, including three consecutive in just over a week’s time.

At Vandebilt Catholic: A four year letter winner for the Terriers... was a two-time all-state performer... named to the all-region team her senior year and to the all-district team her senior season... played in the LHSCAA All-Star Game... holds Vandebilt Catholic's records in scoring (2,344), assists (562) and steals (495)... named Ms. Yuletide MVP during her senior year.

Personal: Sumar Shalina Leslie was born on April 5, 1990 in Houma, La.… daughter of Patricia and Raymond Leslie... has four brothers - Troy, Isaiah, Raymond David and Lionheart – and three sisters - Shun, Salunda and Starr... majoring in family and consumer sciences.
