Nicholls State University

2012 (Senior): Finished her two-year Nicholls career playing in 36 matches with 93 total sets played... Finishes with 71 career kills, 12 aces, 35 digs, 43 blocks and 106.5 points... Played in 21 matches in her final season with 11 starts and 49 sets played... Had 51 kills, three aces, 25 digs and 22 blocks... Set a career-high in kills twice on the season with seven against North Florida and UT Martin... Took a career-most 20 attempts against UALR, with seven double figure attack matches on the season... Had a career-best seven digs against UTM... Had four blocks against UNO. 

2011 (Junior): Played in 15 matches for the Colonels, earning one start and playing in 44 sets... Finished the year with 20 kills and 21 total blocks... Newlin's nine aces against Alcorn State (Sept. 14) is the second most in a game in Nicholls history, second most in a game this year in the conference and two shy of the old Southland Conference record... Earned career highs of five kills and nine total blocks at Jackson State (Sept. 20).

Prior to Nicholls -

Butler Community College: Set the single season and career hitting percentage records at Butler ... Was named second team all district in 2010.

Clearwater High School:  A varsity starter in volleyball and softball all four years in Clearwater.
