Nicholls State University

2012 (Junior): Played in 38 games making 35 starts, while also making 11 appearances on the mound with six starts... Had a .295 batting average with 39 hits and 11 doubles with 16 RBI and 21 runs scored... Sported a 3-1 record as a pitcher with a 3.21 earned run average  in 47.2 innings pitched... Had 12 multiple hit contest, including having four three-hit games... Went 3-for-5 against Oral Roberts in the second game of a doubleheader with an RBI and two runs scored... Had two complete-game shutout efforts in conference play, going nine innings against McNeese State at home holding the Cowboys to just six hits with five strikeouts, while limiting Northwestern State to just four hits with three walks... Threw a season-high 127 pitches against the Cowboys. 

Prior to Nicholls:

At Labette Community College: Hit .422 as a sophomore at Labettte, finishing the season with 65 hits, 17 doubles, two triples and six home runs in 154 at bats... Drove in 58 runs during the season, crossing the plate 45 times... Had a .489 on-base percentage, getting walked 16 times with four sacrifice flies and getting hit by pitches eight times... Finished the year with a .944 fielding percentage with 57 put outs and 112 assists.

At Fort Gibson High School: Was a multi-sport athlete, but finished his high school baseball career hitting .547 with 41 hits, seven doubles and a home run, driving in 17 runs and stealing 21 bases.

Personal: Full name is Brandon Dale Jackson, born April 10 in Fort Gibson, Okla... Parents are Robert and Kim Jackson, and has a younger brother, Jackson... Majoring in general studies.
