Biography

Prior to Nicholls

At St. Michael the Archangel: A four-year letter winner and team captain, Bellard was named All-District, All-Metro and All-State during her senior campaign with the Warriors... Received All-District and All-Metro honors as a junior, while earning Defensive Player of the Year honors... An All-District member as a sophomore and freshman, she was named Rookie of the Year, Best Passer and Best Server as a freshman... Member of the A-B Honor Roll all four years of high school, Bellard also participated in the National Honor Society and Beta Club.

Personal: Daughter of Stacy and Stephanie Bellard, Amari plans to major in Biology with a Pre-Physical Therapy concentration. She plans to become a physical therapist post-graduation.
