2016 (Senior): Led Nicholls with 22 points, accounting for a team-high eight goals and six assists... goal total was tied for fourth-best in the league, while her assists mark was in the top five... named All-Southland First Team for the second time.
2015 (Senior): Redshirted due to injury.
2014 (Junior): Played in 19 games during her third season as a Colonel, starting 18, with 1343 minutes logged on the pitch... Led the team with seven assists, helping the Colonels to a 5-0 record in games in which she has registered at least one assist... Was second on the team in both goals (5) and points (17)... Helped lead a stingy Colonel defense to six shutout victories on the year including a 1-0 triumph over McNeese State in the conference tournament, securing the program's first ever postseason win.
2013 (Sophomore): Played and started in 18 games in her second season as a Colonel, with 1434 minutes logged on the pitch... Saw 90 minutes or more in nine contests... Aided the defense in shutouts of McNeese State and Houston Baptist... Scored five goals on the season, including a hat trick against Southern on Aug. 23.
2012 (Freshman): Played in 17 games, all starts, in her rookie campaign at Nicholls... Finished the season with three goals and two assists for eight total points on the year... Was a focal point of the offense in the first two matches, scoring in each and earning an assist against Spring Hill College... Finished with 28 shots and 15 shots on goal on the season... Was 3-for-3 on penalty kicks on the season and took 11 corner kicks... Saw 1304 minutes of action, playing in 90 or more minutes eight times on the season.
At Bossley Park: Was a standout three-sport athlete, while also playing for the Australian Vikings and Marconi Stallions club teams... Was named the senior sports woman of the year three times and was placed on their school's wall of fame each as a junior and senior... Earned the Bossley Park team most valuable player and U19 indoor soccer most valuable player, as well as being named the Ian Parnaby Female Player of the Year both years... As a member of the Stallions and Vikings, Coates earned two NSW Premier League titles and two third place finishes with the Stallions, while going on a tour of Brazil with the Vikings U17 team... Academically she won six individual academic honors including the Plus 3 Award in 2011.
